Sara wants her new name to be Toothless.

Sara lost her first tooth yesterday. She came up to me and said "Mom you can call me Toothless like the dragon in 'How to Train Your Dragon.'" She is so cute and so proud of her first tooth gone. Yeah for Sara.

Easter Eggs and Easter Fun!!

This year was so much fun dying eggs. We broke about five of them but it's the first time all the kids had the opportunity to actually do it. It's so fun to watch the kids getting bigger every year.

Bella is always such a big helper to her little brother. He loves how she and all her friends spend time with him.

Brooklin and Sara are quite the pair. They love being together and working together....not. They did have a great time fighting over who got what color.

The Easter Bunny always leaves a treasure hunt for us and this year it ended in the new sandbox that had rudely been covered by snow.

Zooiriffic Day!!

We went to the zoo on Monday and had a great time. It was warm and wonderful. The kids all really enjoyed being with there cousins. Really Bella enjoyed being out of school and Garrett hasn't been happy about much in two years. He's our little negative nancy. Look at all the fun with cousins.

Bella was even willing to bestow a kiss on the big ol' gorilla.

Brooklin loved hanging out with Nani. I love her age so much she wants to make sure everyone is included so she walked hand in hand with Nani, sat on the bench with her when she needed rest, and really just enjoyed her time with her.

They even got to climb a Rhino. Who could ask for more?

All the little ones weighed in too. Gavin had to with G because he was having a two year old moment. It was a super fun day!!

Gratiude Time!!

For those of you who know and those who don't these last couple of weeks ave been really rough for me. I've been struggling and trying to find a way out of it. So today I thought it would be a good chance to be grateful. I made a top ten list of things I am grateful for.
#10 My job. There are days but I'm glad I have one. For the most part people make me laugh.
#9 My home. It is my sanctuary. I love that in this place my children grow and learn. It's the place I get to do the greatest thing on earth, be a Mom.
#8 My country. Last night was amazing. Sneaking into a concert and watching my little niece on the stage in uniform. Dad would have been proud since all his children and grandchildren had eyes that were sweating.
#7 My Parents. What a great childhood I had with vacations, family home evening, guess the animals, singing as a family and love at home.
#6 My siblings. They are all so great to me and listen to "I see Becki". Without knowledge of where I am are willing to encourage me to connect when I'd rather hide.
#5 Isabella. She is my oldest and often times gets stuck with a lot of responsibility, but every day she impresses me. She has great intelligence, wit and a wicked sense of humor.
#4 Garrett. My little man. Who would have ever thought having a boy would be so different but it sure is. You melt my heart and drive me crazy all in the same moment. I wouldn't change any part of it.

#3 Sara. This little girl is my princess in every way. She has so much self confidence it's amazing. She has many friends and will call anyone she meets her latest friend.

#2 Brooklin. Oh my little menace. She is the most loving child. Just today while at the park she felt a little girl was not being fair to her sister and she looked at her with anger in her eyes and said "That's my sister you know." She loves everyone.
#1 Gavin. Oh how lucky I am to have a man that knows how to deal with the insane so well. This past week when I've needed support you were my rock. I couldn't love anyone more.

Sara's Kindergarten bug program

Sara had her kindergarten bug program on Tuesday. It was so cute and I'm so happy they had it at a time I could participate. The kids were super cute and the bug costumes were awesome. I barely qualify to come from the Finch family because once again my camera died right after we got there. I am no boy scout, never prepared.

Garrett gets his first haircut.

Here is Mr. G hair before his cut. (note the attitude it's all the time)
Here he is so handsome with the same attitude. I was hoping he was like Samson where the hair would change the attitude but no luck. He is so lucky he's adorable.
